Educational Visit – Early Childhood (TASKA KEMAS)

On 23 April 2026, the School of Aerospace Engineering also hosted a group from TASKA KEMAS An’Nur Lahar Endin, Penaga, Pulau Pinang. The visit involved 17 children aged 3 and 4 years old, accompanied by educators, staff, and parents.
This visit was designed with a child-friendly approach, focusing on the concept of 3E: Explore, Experiment, and Experience. The objective was to provide early exposure to STEM in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner. Activities were tailored to introduce basic ideas related to science, technology, and aviation through interactive and visual learning experiences.
The program aimed to spark curiosity and nurture early interest in STEM fields, allowing children to learn through observation and hands-on engagement in a safe and supportive environment.

Conclusion
Both visits reflect USM’s commitment to community engagement and STEM education outreach. By catering to participants from early childhood to secondary school levels, the School of Aerospace Engineering continues to play a vital role in inspiring future generations.

Such initiatives not only enhance students’ understanding of STEM but also help build a strong foundation for future interest in aerospace and engineering-related careers. It is hoped that these programs will continue to foster a culture of learning, innovation, and exploration among young learners in Malaysia.
