  A success on a single throw. While on february, its a success to maiden albabird 1100 mm wingspan aircraft from finwing hobby manufacturer. Equipped with a flight controller and gps, the aircraft that were build by Ziyyad from USM Skyscanner Team managed to maiden fly on a single throw. With a flight time of 20 minutes, we did get a good result of stabilize and loiter flight mode during the maiden flight. No trim at all. This is a good point for future aerospace engineer to get on the field and run a the test flight of aircraft that they build from kit. Stabilize and loitering flight modes also tested during that day. Alhamdulillah. We started January 2026 with flight introduction to Ziyyad our aerospace 4th year undergrad, unleashing his journey, now flying our scale size helicopter. This is our centre are for, we never limit the journey of our students and share our excitements with hands-on and practical experience especially under aerospace engineering. Helicopter known for its hard to tame and prefer proper setup to be fly stable. This is his first time to fly this size of helicopter with minimum flight experience with this kind of machine.
