Another Visit Streak for 2025 to our centre.

We received a visit from SJKC Pai Teik, Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang on 2 November 2025, involving 30 pupils and 5 teachers.

The visit was aimed at empowering students in STEM. 

Among the activities showcased were an introduction to aerospace engineering, paper plane building, drone demonstration, gas turbine engine demonstration, as well as visits to our aircraft including a helicopter and an airplane. The pupils also had the opportunity to try our RC flight simulator.

The programme was held at the School of Aerospace Engineering and our Aerospace Discovery Centre, giving the students a hands-on experience in the world of aviation and aerospace.

May more future and wonderful collaboration between USM, Aerospace Discovery Centre, and Primary and Secondary will empower Penang 2030 vision.

Our 1st Open Day as an Aerospace Discovery Centre

28.8.2025 Yes, we have done the 1st Open day for Aerospace Discovery Centre, Universiti Sains Malaysia . We are very excited to see more and more people come in to our facilities here at USM Kampus Kejuruteraan to see, feel, hands on with our full scale and scale aircrafts here at our Hangar School of Aerospace Engineering USM . This is only the beginning, Aerospace Discovery Centre will have more and more open day to the public after this.   This is truly us, the spirit of discovery and get the taste of aerospace in your hand.
